One of the things we really enjoyed in Spain was orange juice. Not only was it a way to replenish fluids and stay hydrated, it also was of very high quality and excellent taste.
The South of the country, especially the area around Valencia, is famous anyway for its oranges and indeed we sometimes cycled for hours on end amid endless orange groves.

In every café, even in the smallest village, there always was an orange juice machine.
On the island of Mallorca, where there is a very serious bicycle culture, the presence of orange juice goes even further: It can be found at strategically located points on the popular cycling routes, that is usually on the highest points after a difficult climb. Mallorca being the winter training destination par excellence of many a Northern European cycling team, the relevant signs announcing orange juice are often in English and German.
